Aspera

Aspera is a NASA Pioneers mission designed to explore the faint ultraviolet light from nearby galaxies to understand how baryons cycle in and out of galaxies. As part of the optical calibration and ground payload assembly team, I contributed to tasks such as maintaining a class 10,000 cleanroom, conducting ultrasonic cleaning of flight components, and testing system functionality. These experiences expanded my hands-on expertise in instrumentation and provided a deeper understanding of the challenges involved in preparing a small satellite mission for launch, fueling my dedication to advancing astronomical research through innovative technology.
